- kitchen + bathroom are swept and mopped
- drains are cleared
- shower's been scrubbed
- ditto the toilet
i'll spray some surfaces down with bleach and start scrubbing when it's cool enough out to open a window. after 2-3 weeks of unrelenting 80-90 degree weather at anywhere between 40-80% humidity it's finally supposed to rain tonight. that'll be such a relief
i need to brace myself to clean the microwave, which was so gross when i moved in last year that i resolved solely to use the one that an ex-roommate gave me set up in my room. i checked earlier and it hasn't improved

also I think I know which cult you're talking about maybe? I listen to a podcast by someone who left (and is now gay, not allowed in the cult) and my ex-flatmate was in it (she was absolutely bizarre)... yikes
oh thank you, that's sweet of you to say! i'm honestly not nearly as knowledgable on nutrition as i am in exercise, there's a ton i have to reference, but the handful of nutrition courses i've been forced to sit through in order to graduate from various programs have been good for something i guess haha
and yeah that's not surprising both on there being different podcasts by victims and your ex-roommate having been well… interesting to deal with. you're probably right, it's apparently incredibly homophobic and transphobic. i hope your ex-roommate was able to escape though and that she wasn't too rude to you

i won't say that i hope you're able to recover because that's condescending as hell but i'm wishing the best for you as well and hoping that you're able to come to a point that's easier to manage and/or less miserable
