Watching the latest ep of Itzy's tour book on YouTube and Chaeryeong's hair has thinned quite a bit here. I actually had the same thing happen (but not as severe) due to my eating and also bad hair habits. But it is way too thin there than what should be. Kind of balding. I don't remember it looking this thin when she's done side parts before For me my solution was cutting all my hair off and treating it more gently while having better-ish nutrition but I feel like there's not much that will change in their world. Even then it's kind of hard to regrow those spots too... Hope she can keep it intact though and not end up like Lisa for example. Makes me wonder if this is part of the reason she went back to dark hair, to take some stress off it...

i forgot to post about this but in txt's wlive last week, did anyone else notice that kai didn't eat at all? all the members were eating tteokbokki, fishcakes, and some bingsu to celebrate their win, except for him
it was late in korea when they had the wlive, so he could've ate already- but when they had a wlive with food a few months ago he still ate a little bit when the members asked him to despite having ate earlier

beomgyu and soobin were bickering over how they both didnt eat today and soobin accused beomgyu of stealing his boiled eggs and dried sweet potato sticks and they started arguing until they both decided to stop and eat which made me remember that i saw idols eating those sweet potato sticks or eat boiled eggs when dieting

i was surprised as a fan of hyuka because he pretty much has a healthier mindset around food and will always eat
i noticed he was just staring at everyone eating and reading the comments (which were full of everyone asking him to eat something the entire time)

beomgyu started pouring soda for everyone and handed the cups out and even then kai just pushed his cup to the side away from him and played with it a bit. i think it was taehyun had mentioned that they had a fitting right before they finished the live and were going to practice for their concert but everyone else still ate despite that.

he's lost weight too which could very well be due to being busy with promotions but i keep thinking about how he was shamed really hard last year around gbgb's release for gaining weight, and the fact that the stylist doesnt seem to know how to dress his body type, biding bim in billowy shirts and jackets made the hate worse. he had posts made about him almost daily on pann, especially when they were touring in the states for being "fat".

im not a stan at all of any kpop groups but i don't like this too much. there are people much more deserving of hate in this world or even in the kpop world. i just keep seeing "blackpink bad!" and gets tons of likes and upvotes, im very bored of both the critique of them and blackpink themselves tbh.

agreed, I'm not a blink but the amount of hate they get seems disproportionate. there are plenty of groups that don't have good vocals. Im pretty sure blackpink are mostly known for visuals/concepts and maybe rapping. people just love hating on other people's success, they seem like nice girls, and their fans love their music

In my opinion bp vocals in general arent bad, not their strongest skill for sure but not bad. What I think this clip shows is mainly the consequences of the long hiatus and not practicing enough. other groups have comebacks more aften so they prob practice their vocals a lot more than bp.

one of my friends was at an event where taeyeon performed like a week ago and i really wanted to ask how tiny taeyeon is irl but idk how to ask that without sounding weird? 😭

if I was you, after bringing up the event, I'd be like, "She looks like she's lost a lot of weight lately/looks a bit small/sick lately" or some variation. "Did she seem okay/healthier in person?"
Basically if you come at a I'm worried about her angle I think that's normal enough 🤔 but I hardly know what's normal anymore lul.

this is a complete assumption on my part, but I wonder how much Taeyeon's more recent weight loss and plastic surgery changes over the last couple years have to do with the younger kpop stars. Looking at this photo, I can't imagine she's not in some way comparing herself to or maybe competing with Winter who is younger, more or less just as small, with a similar look in the face. Moreso I guess because of the vline face look Taeyeon has now. It's like Winter is the younger potentially smaller faced version of herself. Like, it's hard for me to unsee looking at this pic. I think being in the industry for older stars must be difficult.

if I was you, after bringing up the event, I'd be like, "She looks like she's lost a lot of weight lately/looks a bit small/sick lately" or some variation. "Did she seem okay/healthier in person?"

this is a complete assumption on my part, but I wonder how much Taeyeon's more recent weight loss and plastic surgery changes over the last couple years have to do with the younger kpop stars. it‘s weird for sure but it probably has to do with the field she‘s in because in kpop they get so much shit for not looking perfect (especially women)
