All jokes aside though, honestly drugs and alcohol stopped my SH. I was really into SH in middle and high school so I was like 12 when I started. Then I starting drinking and using drugs in high school around age 14-15 so it took away the pain that I wanted to inflict on myself. I know my triggers were bullying related but once I figured that out I stopped letting the bitch that bullied me hurt my feelings anymore and the urges slowly went away over the years while I finished school. I was a cutter and got myself pretty deep a number of times, and hospitalized once for it.
I’m glad you are doing better now
My triggers are just failing at things like I didn’t get this job interview and they explained the reasons why but I was so down about it and decided to punish myself in the shower

If it helps, job interview are bullshit and the reasons they decide to take a person instead of another are very often not objective at all. It depends a lot on personality and which personality they prefer best. Also, your ability to sell yourself and 'fake' your own personality can come in very handy, but you don't have to be one of those people to get a job; you'll just get another job where they actually appreciate you for being you!

Yea I just need to “ fake it till I make it” I think the biggest let down was I put one of my current supervisors as one Of my referees right since the role I was applying for was in the same hospital just another department.
Interview went well everything else was fine but then it came back unsuccessful.
Also one of my coworkers daughter works in that department and overheard them talking and they said that the two applicants that applied had bad referees
Fuck then. I can’t trust my own management. Now I know

You just have to keep going, I hope you find a way later to cope with those emotions.
